I got a date in Paris ^_~

It's getting closer !! I can't wait !! :D And as usual I started packing waaaaay too early but unlike other times where I packed my suitcase 5 weeks before, I only made lists of stuff I absolutely need to carry. I haven't even try to fit that stuff in it but I already decided... I'll need one more bag. And I'm not even overpacking unlike last time xD In Ireland I wore 20% of my own stuff and everything else was bought there xD But since Paris is a tad more expensive I can't really rely on the shops there or I need to find a bunch of thrift stores which wouldn't be too bad. 

I joined, a while ago, a group on facebook for au-pairs in Paris and I'm glad I already got to know a few girls and even two who live just around the corner :) Others live quite far away but I think we'll end up being quite a large group and I can't wait to meet them all. 

My mind's basically already there, lately I've been spending my days doing almost nothing... just planning what I'm gonna do there, see there, buy there... 

Now I saw that my old dance instructor lives there and basically the last time I saw him I was 12 and couldn't stand him... well now I'm quite a bit older and he asked me out.. but not really a date (am glad) he said he wants to become my "best friend" hehe and I find that funny he's quite funny, and I think he has a girlfriend so I really don't mind I like male friends :) And I really hope he can help me find a cheap/good dance school, cause he wants a job... so if he's the teacher AND my "best friend" I might even get a good price ;)

That's it for now... don't really have any updates for the next time until I start packing properly then you'll get like 20 posts saying: I think I forgot something, Where is my _________, I can't find the ________ and so on xD

R.I.P. Amy Winehouse may she now have a better life than on earth. Poor girl, a death that could have been avoided, I've never been a massive fan but I loved her songs and I'm gonna miss her music.

~Bucket List~

Well I wanted to do something like this with a blogger gadget but nope we don't have such gadgets sooo let's do one from scratch.

Things I want to do during my year in Paris:

1. Buy a decent Reflex (Canon EOS 500D)
2. Go to Disneyland a bunch of times
3. Visit Versailles
4. Visit the Eiffel Tower, especially when the leaves turned brown
5. Meet Bogi
6. Spend a whole day by myself at the Louvre
7. Go to Montmartre
8. Visit the "Café des deux moulins"
9. Go to Pierrot Gourmande to get lollipops
10. Go see Imelda May
11. Go to town with my kids
12. Meet as many au-pairs as possible
13. Actually send stuff to my friends in Italy.
14. Figure out where and what Les Puces is (always bookmark stuff that sounds interesting)
15. Try to get as fluent as possible in french
16. Vlog publicly... after all in a big city no one cares.
17. Go to as many public events as possible
18. Get to know at least one Disney Cast Member
19. Bake many things with the girls
20. Go to the synagogue with them
21. Skype with Marty and Mom
22. Do some Random Acts of Kindness
23. Write many letters
24. Meet my dance instructor.
25. Start doing Yoga


Let's say more to come... the list might be infinite but I've got time.. a year is long :)

I GOT THE JOB !

My future boss just called me and we were both squeaking at the phone :D it was just yay- yay-yay-yay haha amazing !!!! I already love her and can't wait !!!!! I'm so ridiculously happy right now I can't stop smiling !!! I had to wake up my mom to tell her she said "oh..cool" and fell asleep again xD few minutes later... "Wait... WHAT ??" omg for once in my life I'm good at something and who'd have known it would be child minding ! Amazing :D

Now... let the flight booking begin ;)

I'm the most stupid person ever.

Nah don't worry I haven't been hacked. I just realised this about myself... sometimes I tell lies, little white lies and yea those friggin little lies might cost me my almost sure working place in Paris ! My new boss loves me and I love them and the kids and everything about it, but she wants to talk to my old boss who doesn't know I wanted to au-pair another year... so yea... not sure how the conversation between them might end.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed and my friends too... it's the best job I could ask for it's absolutely perfect and now... it's all my fault if I fuck this chance up. I'm so stupid !!!!

5 days left + bad news

Hello lovelies,
days are going by and now it's only 5 days left, it seems like yesterday when my countdown was 90 days or something around that... can't quite believe it's over, am insanely happy but at the same time a bit sad, there's so many things I'm gonna miss but then... let's hope for a better future in Paris.
Regarding Paris... remember the nice family I found well... they're not replying and looking for au-pair jobs made me extremely pessimistic so no (immediate) reply always equals refusal to me. So yea back to the start.
The wedding went alright, had it's moments.
I made a vlog about it, where you can see my dress and where I talk about the whole thing :D

And that's basically it for now, no major news :)
